The poem is actually much longer and is really beautiful. It is by a Pakistani Urdu poet.
One stanza from the original which always sticks in my mind is
“Just keep saying Allahi Allah
Do not give pain to anyone
A shattered glass can be fixed
But a broken heart can never be mended
He who is the Lord of the World
Take only His name
Allahi Allah”
